Dr. Meet Mehta

Through My Journey:

Dr. Meet Mehta is a Consultant Arthroscopy Surgeon, Joint Preservation Specialist, and Sports Medicine Expert with over seven years of experience in treating a wide range of orthopaedic and sports-related conditions.

He completed his Master of Orthopaedics (MS Orthopaedics) from B. J. Medical College and Civil Hospital under the guidance of Dr. H. P. Bhalodiya. He earned his MBBS degree from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College and V.S. Hospital and subsequently completed a one-year rotating internship at V.S. Hospital, Ahmedabad.

As part of his early international exposure, Dr. Mehta completed observerships in the United Kingdom, including a one-week observership at NHS Leicester and a one-week observership at University College London Hospitals in March 2015.

To further enhance his expertise, he pursued advanced fellowship training in arthroscopy, sports medicine, and joint preservation at some of the most renowned institutions in India and abroad, including:

• Ganga Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. S. R. Sundararajan
• St. Mary's Hospital
• Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, widely recognized as one of the world's leading sports injury and sports medicine centers, where he had the opportunity to work alongside internationally acclaimed sports injury specialists.

Dr. Mehta is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered orthopaedic care. He strongly believes in educating patients through evidence-based information, enabling them to make informed decisions about their treatment. His approach emphasizes joint preservation, combining both surgical and non-surgical treatment modalities to achieve optimal outcomes while preserving native joint function whenever possible.
